Dr. Sajjadi graduated from Creighton University Medical School with Honors in 1981. He completed his 5-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Martin Luther King/Drew-UCLA Medical Center (KDMC), in Los Angeles, California and completed his clinical fellowship training at University of Minnesota in the field of Otology/Neurotology-Skull Base Surgery.
His main research interests have centered on Endoscopic Ear Surgery, Sudden Deafness, Cholesteatoma, Hearing Aid Implants, Cochlear Implants, Meniere’s disease and Hearing preservation with endoscopic assisted Acoustic Neuroma surgery.
He is the chief of Otology division at Palo Alto VA Healthcare system.
Dr. Hamed Sajjadi is married to Azar, they have four adult children. He is an avid mountain biker and downhill skier.
